Why Rise of Fourth Reich, inevitable?

History repeats itself, so said Karl Marx. Looking at the circumstances that prevailed before the Fuhrer assumed Chancellorship in 1933, I am inclined to think that the Rise of The Fourth Reich is indeed inevitable. Here is my reasoning:

Why The Third Reich rose in the first place?

1. Germany experienced severe collapse in her economics where people had nothing to eat, nothing to work for and nothing to shelter under

2. Public disaffection spread like wild fire where daily violence in the streets of Berlin and elsewhere caused major loss of life, destruction of assets leading to political and economic chaos

3. Germany not only suffered the reparations imposed by victorious powers but was also restricted in domestic economic well-being. Put it more bluntly the humiliation was overbearing

4. Political instability within on one hand and military weakness prevailing without on the other hand exacerbated the difficult times Germany as a nation was muddling through.

Result: Germans felt the need for a strong leader to fight against the injustices meted upon her by the Allies and to navigate the German ship in troubled waters. Enter the Fuhrer in 1933. That began the Third Reich.

By the way, Arthur Moeller Van den Bruck who recorded the first two Reich viz Holy Roman Empire (962 to 1806) and German Empire (1871 to 1918) was anticipating eagerly for the Third Reich to come next. Moeller, however died in May 1925.

Current circumstances impelling birth of Fourth Reich

1. Afd Party which espouses toned down rightist tendency is only a symptom; the cause lies elsewhere in societal fabric and in deceleration of the German standard of living

2. Germans as a whole seek to foster a new identity not as a part of the Anglo-Saxons hegemony which was once captained by Britain and now commanded by USA but one that is centred upon European ethos embracing the nuances of the entire continent east to west including the Slavic population led by Russia

3. Rhine-river based German industrial heartland, the primary motivator of German excellence is really struggling to make ends meet whereas non-Rhine industrial belts of Germany in Stuttgart, Munich, Hanover and Hamburg are also failing in their collective performance

4. Industrial stagnation is the lead factor for economic depression felt throughout the nation inducing the bright and smart technocrats to move out of Germany to pastures elsewhere in Europe and/or America

5. Bad energy management policies led to closure of nuclear power plants and rupture of the energy flow from Russian pipelines of oil & gas

6. Political instability arising out of disputes within Friedrich Merz led coalition of Union plus SPD as regards to needed economic reforms in pension reform and social & welfare expenditure were scuppered

7. The public disillusion over the conduct, direction and power structure within the conservative CSU/CDU party popularly known as Union which led most of the previous administrations in the post war Germany lend credence to the birth of a strong rightist party that could fashion itself as the inheritor of the erstwhile National Socialist Party.

Solution

Either Merz led administration ‘navigate strategy amid geoeconomics’ and take bold steps on political & economic reforms or call for a new election forthwith!
